St. Simon and St. Jude

Roman Catholic Church, Streatham Hill

A warm welcome to St. Simon & St. Jude, we are the Roman Catholic Parish of Streatham Hill, South London. Our parish lies within the Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark.

Front of ChurchOur parish priest is Rev. Fr. Habte Ukbay.

We are a small and welcoming community, dating back to early 1900s. The present church began life as the Tulse Hill Catholic Mission, with the first Mass being celebrated on 27th July 1906.

The parish serves many diverse people of all ages and backgrounds. We come together, not only to pray, worship and share the sacraments together, but also to celebrate high feasts and social events, such as the summer barbecue, charity concerts  and the international lunch in October.

Our website is intended to serve as a guide and information hub to our parish and to help bring us further together as a community.

Please explore the website, but most of all, please do come and visit us at St. Simon & St. Jude R.C.

Join us in worship, prayer and thanksgiving to our Lord, and being a vibrant community in Christ at the center of London.

Lent is a time of prayer, fasting, alms giving and reconciliation. This weekend we welcome visiting priests from St. Bede’s Parish, Clapham Park.

Fr. Cristopher Basden and Fr. Przemyslaw Zgorecki will be celebrating all our masses, on 24th and 25th February 2018.

They will be hearing confession before all the weekend masses.

Stations of the Cross: During this Lenten season there will be Stations of the Cross every Monday at 11.00 a.m. immediately after the weekly exposition of the blessed Sacrament and Benediction.
